What is First Aid at Work (FAW)?
First Aid at Work (FAW) is the gold-standard workplace first aid qualification in the UK. Approved by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), this 3-day course provides delegates with the comprehensive knowledge and hands-on skills needed to deal with a wide range of medical emergencies in the workplace.

The First Aid at Work course is designed for employees who will be designated as first aiders in their organisation. It is particularly suited to:

HSE Requirements
Under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, employers must ensure adequate first aid cover is available. This requires a first aid needs assessment taking into account:

- •The number of employees
- •The organisation of work (shift patterns, lone working)
- •The location of the workplace
