Equip your team with the skills to recognise and support mental health challenges in the workplace. Available as online modules or face-to-face training across Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire.
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a training programme that teaches people to recognise the signs of mental health problems, provide initial support and guide individuals towards appropriate professional help. Just as physical first aid provides initial care before a doctor arrives, Mental Health First Aid provides initial support before professional mental health services can be accessed.
In the UK, 1 in 4 people experience a mental health problem each year. The workplace is often where signs of distress first become apparent. Having trained Mental Health First Aiders creates a more supportive culture and can prevent minor issues from becoming serious crises.
Full MHFA qualification. Covers depression, anxiety, psychosis, eating disorders, substance misuse, suicide and self-harm. Delegates earn the MHFA certificate.
